Bentley & Estede Sunglasses

Luxury car-maker Bentley has teamed up with Austrian eyewear company, Estede to create a collection of sunglasses for the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The collection of aviator sunglasses are to be in silver palladium, 18 carat gold, and platinum, which Estede claims is the first to be used in eyewear. The models have been treated with a surface technique that is used in Bentley's quilted leather cushions. Each pair of sunglasses comes in a box with interchangeable lenses that cab be engraved with the owner's name and his or her Bentley model number.
The glasses are offered in two sizes with pricing that is listed at $1,900 for the silver palladium, $5,500 for the 18 carat gold, and $15,000 for the exclusive platinum. Oh the price of protecting your eyes from the sun.
