2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

It's a celebration over at Chevrolet as the Corvette turns 60. To commemorate the occasion, the company has unveiled a made-over version of its classic, iconic sports car. The latest model is the Corvette’s 7th iteration, thus the title “C7.” Chevrolet has opted, though, to title the new model “Stingray” which was first used on a 1959 race car, then on the remade 1963 Corvette.

The 2-door hatchback, with removable roof panel, delivers a whopping 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. The new ‘Vette gets more than 26 miles per gallon, making it the most fuel-efficient Corvette of all time. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in fewer than 4 seconds with either a 7-speed manual or 6-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission.
