2014 Porsche Panamera

For the 2014 edition of the Porsche Panamera, the auto maker replaces the old 4.8 liter V8 engine with a biturbo 3.0 liter V6. The car’s smaller engine actually produces more power than the previous design, creating 420 hp alongside 384 lb-ft of torque.

Additionally, the upcoming model year will feature the Panamera S E-Hybrid edition – an improvement over the previous hybrid that now boasts a more powerful electric motor and ithium-ion battery for an improvement in gas mileage from 33 mpg to 76 mpg. Billed as the first luxury plug-in hybrid, the Panamera S E-Hybrid is also faster than the previous electric and can go from 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds with an all-electric top speed of 84 mph.

Cosmetically, the car is getting everything from a larger rear spoiler and more angled rear window to LED lamps and a multifunction steering wheel.
