Christie's Auction Announces Sale of 50 Rare Rolex Daytona Watches

Famed auction house Christie’s will hold a special sale of 50 of the most important and sought-after Rolex Daytona wrist watches. Taking place on Sunday, November 10 in Geneva, Switzerland, the lot will range from an example of a Mark 1 Daytona (Double-Swiss Underline) dating to 1963 to a brand new 2013 50th anniversary Daytona in platinum.
The most standout pieces, however, include a 6263 previously in possesion of famed French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo and a 6263 made for Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, which is estimated to fetch about $331,600.
