Harvey Stripes: Jokers (Video)

After becoming a mainstay on Toronto’s music scene, Harvey Stripes returns to the city that raised him to separate the real from the fake in the video for his latest single, “Jokers”.

Shot primarily in Ottawa, the Zac Facts-directed visual sees Harvey take you on a journey through his hometown — from local food and shopping spots to the city’s notorious housing projects, including his own Woodvale Green, where the rapper got his name. While many artists can’t go back to their old hoods, Harvey shows love for the streets and pays homage with his DNDMG affiliates in “Jokers”.

“I was born a west-side Ottawa nigga,” says Harvey. “I could go anywhere in the world and you could never take that away from me.”

“Jokers”, which was produced by Nav, will appear on Harvey’s upcoming project, “In God We Trust".
