Chanel's First Watch for Men

Chanel’s watchmakers have been at it in the women's department since 1987 and now the company has developed its timepiece for men. The Monsieur de Chanel was five years in the making with a design of a manual-winding mechanical movement called the Calibre 1, a double complication consisting of 170 components. The watch’s 240-degree display allows for the movement, an Instant Jumping Hour and retrograde minute indication, to take place, which means the minute hand jumps to zero at the start of each hour.

The Monsieur de Chanel will be released in a total of 300 examples: 150 in beige gold and 150 in white gold.
